We offer a warm and inviting Restaurant and Café just east of the main front entrance to the Village off Sheppard Avenue. Whether you need a small snack or a full meal, it may be purchased 7 days per week. The Courtyard Restaurant and Café is open Monday to Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and on Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 6: 30 p.m.

No matter the event - celebrating a birthday, an anniversary or saying goodbye to a loved one - out dedicated catering staff will ensure it meets your needs. For residents who subscribe to Rogers Cable TV, channel 17 is our internal broadcasting system that provides information of interest to the Shepherd Village Community. Tune in to find information ranging from the daily weather, cafe lunch and dinner menus, to resident activities, programs, services, staff contact information and more! Also enjoy the array of background music that plays throughout the presentation.

Computers, a printer and internet access are available to residents in the computer lab and library of Shepherd Terrace (southwest end), with access to email, games, educational resources, online news, and more. Volunteers are available to assist with computer needs.

The Exercise Room is located in the southeast corner of the Manor, beside the swimming pool. It is equipped with cardio and fitness equipment for your use.

This hair salon and spa for men and women offers the professional services of our stylists and aestheticians. Hairdressing, manicures, pedicure and massage services are among the services available. Residents can charge fees to their accounts. Appointments may be made by visiting the salon or called 416-609-5700 extension 240.

There are many fine collections located throughout Shepherd Village, with materials available to satisfy a variety of interests. There is a library on the first floor (near the mall exit) in Shepherd Manor, operated by the Manor residents from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. The Shepherd Lodge library is located on the main floor of Shepherd Lodge, directly accross from the main floor elevators, and is available throughout the day. There is also a library in the Computer Resource Centre located in the southwest corner of the main floor of Shepherd Terrace.

We are pleased to offer an onsite pharmacy that is open five days a week. It is located in the Village Variety of the first floor opposite the Courtyard Restaurant. A pharmacist from Summit Pharmacy can fill your prescription needs. She/ he can also answer any questions you may have regarding your prescriptions right here at the Village.

An indoor heated pool is located in the southeast corner of the Manor on the first floor, beside the Exercise Room. We recommend that you swim with a buddy since there is no lifeguard on duty. The Pool is open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Nestled between our Café / Restaurant and the Village Variety / Pharmacy is the Vending Kiosk; there you will find hot and cold beverages, snacks, as well as an ATM (Automated banking machine). This area is open 24 hours, seven days a week for your convenience.

This is our traditional corner store; comfort and service were the foundations in creating the Village Variety store where you will find your daily essentials: newspapers, stamps, cards, bread, milk, snacks, ice cream, plus other staples and treats. The store is open seven days a week.
