The Family Council is an organized, self-led, self-determining, democratic group comprosed of the family and friends of the residents of Shepherd Lodge.
In 2004 the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care recognized the importance of the work of Family Councils by approving annual funding for the Provincial Family Council Program.
The Shepherd Lodge Family Council was established in 2005 with the support of the Shepherd Village management.
Meetings are held at 6:00pm, the first Thursday of each month.
