Village Club Adult day Program
Our current challenge is to raise the necessary funds for the day-to-day operational support for the Club. Your golf sponsorship is an opportunity to help further the wonderful work of the Village Club.
The Village Club Adult Day Program, a service for seniors on the Shepherd Village campus, opened its doors on October 1, 2008. The Centre offers care and support in a social environment to individuals over age 65 with significant physical or cognitive impairment, social isolation, or other challenges. This program helps us fulfill our mandate to provide a continuum of care.
Since opening its doors, the Village Club has grown to the point of having a waiting list for participation due to the demand of this much needed program. In 2011 alone the Village Club served 375 clients, with over 40% from the general community.
