Volunteers are a valuable part of the Shepherd Village community.
People just like you make up the diverse group of adult and student volunteers who generously contribute their time, talents and skills to enhance the care, and provide service and support to our residents.
The opportunities to make a difference are endless; the rewards are many.

Commitment of one 3-hour shift (average shift time) weekly for 6 months to 1 year.
(Please note, after six months of service, our program does allow for some flexibility for those who are not available during certain times of the year (e.g., summer)

Students:
School Year Program
Commitment of 2 - 3 hours weekly after school (e.g., after 4pm)
September/October to June (6 months minimum*)
*Only three absences are allowed. Please consider school, vacation and other commitments prior to applying.
OR
Vacation Program
Commitment of 3 hours per day, 5 days a week
Spring Break / Christmas Break / July or August Holidays
Completion of program with minimum of 45 hours (students only).
